Opening Weekend of National Parks Week

Who doesn’t love a trip to a National Park? You’re in luck! In honor of National Parks Week (this April 18-26th,) everyone will get to enjoy free access to all United States National Parks. I’m excited to visit a new park I’ve never been to before in Washington to take advantage of this great experience!

What is National Parks Week?

The goal of the week is to educate and inspire people to get outside, explore nature and beautiful places, embrace our nation’s history and get excited! I love the reminder to use my Discover Pass!

One day, I plan to hit the road and tour America’s National Parks in an RV! I think it’d be so cool to stop by all of them!

We’re all Owners of America’s Parks

As taxpaying citizens, we’re all owners of America’s National Parks and should feel free to explore and enjoy them as we please! I found a really cool resource to exploring parks across the country that has cool ideas for hikes, planning day trips and trails. Check it out here: http://www.nationalparks.org/explore-parks/download-center-registration.

This April 18th and 19th is Opening Weekend in all the National Parks, making them free for everyone. Are you planning on visiting any National Parks in honor of National Parks Week? Which ones?
