3. The flower of January is snowdrop

4. The Czech word for January means ‘Ice Month’

5. The Anglo-Saxons called it Wolfmonth because that was when the wolves came to their villages looking for food.

6. January 11th is National Human Trafficking Awareness Day

8. January is National Staying Healthy Month

9. January is also National Oatmeal and Soup Month

10. January is the coldest month North of the Equator and the hottest month South of the Equator
