The lush jungles of Nicaragua conceal much more than just wildlife and the streets of the city of Managua hold more secrets than vendors around every corner.

When I opened the first pages of The Ladies of Managua, I knew I was in for a treat. Having traveled to Nicaragua for my honeymoon, I fell in love with the beautiful country with unique traditions. So much so, that I plan to build a second home there one day and create a future. Continue reading

We know Paris to be romantic, a city of love and a city of light. Poets, honeymooners, travelers and wanders flock to the city all times of the year seeking a taste of the special feeling that Paris injects into your heart as it takes a hold of you. I had the pleasure of reading David Downie’s new book, A Passion for Paris, and experience his stories. I enjoyed his detail, remarkable storytelling ability and wanderlust the book made me feel. One unhealthy way of living that I have pledged myself away from is the 9-5 gig. With a move to working from home, I found myself with an abundance of time, creative energy and the ability to get everything done in a day I had always wanted.
