Shiloh Saturday: Dog at the Dig Site

I love archaeology, but I didn’t know my beagle did also! When I visited Wawawai Canyon Park recently, we stumbled across some ancient ruins left by Paleo-Indians on the Snake River.

After going for a nice walk around the water, we found a trail that led into the forest that looked more like a jungle than a patch of trees. In this location, there were massive trees with enormous leaves and an archaeological ruin! Continue reading

This Shiloh Saturday we visited the Wawawai canyon cliffs, a unique outcropping of rocks on the Snake River that are perfecting for relaxing by the water in the afternoon.
