It feels like summer here in Pullman and the 70+ degree weather is the perfect time to hit up one of my favorite places around The Palouse! The Illia Dunes are a unique spit by the Snake River where the water stays about a foot deep for hundreds of feet.

This giant sandbar-type area is one of Shiloh’s favorite places to run around, splash through water, bound around bushes and find nasty sea creatures to roll his face in.

Shiloh doesn’t like to swim, so a foot of water is about all he will stand in before retreating to the dry sand and enjoying the heat.

After jumping and running, he took a long nap in the reeds and enjoyed the warm rays. I hope you enjoy the sun today!
