This 1-day detoxifying juice is ideal for once a week. It is cleansing and pairs wonderfully with light and easy daily yoga. This makes a whole pitcher which is a good amount to drink in one day and gives you some good nutrition to get through the day. I personally do half day cleanses or use the juice as a nutrient/hydration boost, but it is safe to do as a 1-day stand alone juice cleanse.
This is better than lots of juice cleanses that are sour, taste bad and leave you hungry. The wheatgrass and juice in this drink are a delicious mix! I’d bottle it and sell it on the street. =]
1-Day Cleansing and Detoxifying Juice Cleanse
1/2 cup Lemon Juice
2 Ounces of Wheatgrass Juice
1/2 cup of cranberry juice
1/2 cup of Iced Tea (any flavor)
1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
Mix all the ingredients together in a pitcher and stir well. Add ice if desired. Sip lightly all day and enjoy.
I’m not a fan of crash diets or starving yourself so I don’t use this juice cleanse as an alternative to food. You can drink this alone for one day if you want, but I usually sip it all day and eat a small breakfast and dinner.
The detoxifying effects of this juice are noticeable, as well as the boost in energy. The wheatgrass gives you natural energy and the cayenne pepper awakens your senses and helps jump start your productivity.
