DIY Massage Oil

As Valentine’s Day approaches, it’s time to start DIY projects! This DIY moisturizing massage oil is fragrant and silky. It’s the perfect DIY gift for Valentine’s Day.

DIY Massage Oil

2 cups of coconut oil

1/4 cup dried hibiscus flowers

a few drops of lavender essential oil

Coconut oil is good to use because it’s a solid at room temperature and warms with the heat of your hands. Since it’s solid, you won’t be able to knock it all over the floor!

Heat your toaster oven to 150 degrees. Add the coconut oil and the dried hibiscus to an oven-safe dish.

Heat for 2-3 hours.

Strain the flowers out of the oil using a cheesecloth.

Add the essential oil.

Put in a glass jar, it will become a solid once it’s room temperature.

Use a little bit at a time, coconut oil is pretty oily! It will heat as it warms on your hands and moisturize the skin.

Have you ever made your own massage oil?
