Thanksgiving Cranberry Sauce

1 cup sugar

1 cup water

1 package frozen or fresh cranberries

Optional Spices: allspice, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, star anise, orange zest

In a large pot, boil water and sugar together, mixing continuously. Wash the cranberries and pick out any that look bad, or any stems. Add the washed cranberries to the boiled sugar water and lower the heat. Simmer the cranberries for 15-20 minutes, until they begin to get mushy and sticky. It’s delicious and ready to go now, or add any spices you would like. Add optional spices and stir well. Serve around a large table filled with good friends.

Happy Thanksgiving from Aquaberry Bliss!
