Bloody Marys are my favorite alcoholic drink and there are a variety of ways to spin this classic. I like making mine with white rum instead of vodka, which gives it less of a sharp kick, plus I add a twist of lime juice.

Cocktail: Twisted Bloody Mary
1 oz white rum
tomato juice
celery sticks
hot sauce of your choice
juice of 1/2 a lime
a dash of pepper
Optional garnishes: olives, peppers, garlic
In a chilled, tall glass, dash pepper in the bottom and add the lime juice. Dash as much hot sauce as you would like and add the shot of white rum. Mix well. Add tomato juice to the top and garnish with a celery stick. Add optional garnishes on a toothpick if you’d like.
