DIY Dishwasher Tablets
(makes 22 tablets)
Ingredients:
1 Cup Borax
1 Cup Arm & Hammer Washing Soda
1/2 Cup Epsom salt
3/4 Cup lemon juice
Mix all the dry ingredients in a medium bowl.
Add the lemon juice and thoroughly mix. It should be wet but not falling apart. You may want to use gloves to shape the mixture. Add additional lemon juice if needed.
The tablets will dry very quickly so try to shape them before they dry out. A good measure to use is a tablespoon at a time.
Form the tablet into whatever shape the soap dispenser is in your dishwasher. Put the finished tablets on a sheet of wax paper and dry them before putting in an airtight container.
