Fall is the best season for freshly-picked apples! Here in Washington we have plenty of delicious apples. Here’s a great cookie recipe for Spiced-Apple Cookies.

Spiced-Apple Cookies
Ingredients:
4 apples
1 1/2 cups of brown sugar
2 1/2 cups of white flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 stick of unsalted butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Dice the apples. In a large bowl, mix butter, sugar, milk and egg. Add flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and baking soda. Scoop small balls of dough onto a greased baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until the cookies are lightly brown.
You can also add nuts or dried fruit to these cookies to add some extra texture. Enjoy!
