Ipsy is a subscription-based company that sends small bags with makeup and toiletries aimed at your Style Profile (based on your skin color and makeup preferences) each month. I’m addicted to my small doses of glamour each month!
This month’s Ipsy Glam Bag is the New Year bag and it’s theme is Fresh Start. Ipsy is awesome because they send the samples (including full-sized products) to you in a reusable and themed makeup bag. They are really handy for traveling, daily grocery shopping or keeping small items close on the go!
I LOVED this month’s glam bag! I got a few full-sized products and got to try a new product I’ve never used before.
Ipsy January Glam Bag: Fresh Start
1. Velvet 59 in Noisette by Paris Manning
Full sized. A light, slightly sticky lip gloss. I like the color, but not the taste. .35 Fluid Ounces.
2. Natural Mineral Coconut Eye Shadow in Ethereal by Pacifica
Full-sized. It’s infused with coconut and velvety smooth. I liked the color. 100% vegan, cruelty-free and proceeds go toward clean water initiatives, which I love! 2.5 Grams
3. Rainforest At Dusk Nourishing Body Cream by Teadora
This awesome, earthy smelling lotion left my hands feeling soft and smooth. Plus Teadora donates proceeds to a partnership in Brazil restoring the Rainforest. 2 Ounces.
4. Mojito Lip Balm by (Malin + Goetz)
I love (Malin + Goetz)’s candles and scents but had never tried their lip balm! The mojito flavor wasn’t too strong and the balm was light and smooth. Loved it! .2 Ounces.
5. Eyelash Curler by Precision Beauty
Full-sized. I’ve always been afraid to try these scary-looking machines but this was was easy to use and made a noticeable difference.
The Bag: This month’s re-usable bag is tri-color and totally matches the theme. It’s blue and white with a bright pink zipper. Seems pretty high quality.
For only $10/month, Ipsy is definitely worth it I easily get $20+ worth of products each time. Try Ipsy for yourself!
