After taking a jaunt around the farm to see how it was handling fall weather, I lucked out! I found not one, not two, but THREE four-leafed clovers on the ground.
How lucky!
Four leafed clovers are found in patches of red or white clover and are genuine genetic mutations. Unfortunately, this is often sped up by chemicals that have been leached into the ground, either intentionally or unintentionally. This is likely not the case with these clovers, as this is a natural, chemical-free farm and we use the clovers to help us with sustainable agriculture. They help to keep weeds out, warmth in and separate the rows.
Where have you found four-leafed clovers?

Hope you’re going to press them and save them! I’ve lived on or near farms all but 15 of my 52 years and I’ve never found one. My aunt was incredibly lucky. She’d just glance at the ground and there would be a four-leaf clover.

I definitely will press them to save! I have always been fortunate at finding them, but my brother never was. I like to think luck is transferrable! Sending some your way =]
